PBIS at Mt. Zion

PBIS stands for Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports. At Mt. Zion, we believe in promoting positive behavior in students so they can be the best that they can be! We focus on four expectations that are mentioned below so all students can be Wonderful Wildcats! Students have the opportunity to receive tickets from all staff in the building when they are demonstrating our school expectations. Students put their tickets in a school fish bowl and we work TOGETHER to earn a schoolwide reward! Students can also be recognized individually by a shoutout on the morning news, having their ticket drawn from the school fishbowl, or being recognized as a Wonderful Wildcat of the month! Please use this link to view our schoolwide behavior matrix. Our behavior matrix is also here in Spanish.  This year, we have a new school pledge. The school pledge is:

I pledge to PAWS UP!

I promise to:

Practice responsibility for myself

have an A+ Attitude

Work hard in school

and Stay safe

PAWS UP
